Remember, Mama: You Matter Too

A mother’s love, so selfless and true,

But don’t forget, you’re a woman too.

Take a moment, breathe and see,

The person you are, wild and free.

Your needs matter, don’t push them away,

Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s okay to say.

Refill your cup, let your spirit soar,

You can’t pour from empty, that’s for sure.

A happy mom makes a happy home,

So take some time to call your own.

Read a book, take a walk, or have a treat,

Nurture yourself, make your life complete.

Remember, mama, as you give and give,

You’re allowed to pause and truly live.

Take care of you, it’s not a crime,

You’re worth every second of your time.
